Every prayer on Grivam is shown with its original text and a clear explanation, so you know what you are saying and why. Meanings are written in simple language, not heavy scholarly terms.
What is Japa Mandapam?

Can I request a prayer that is not on Grivam?
Yes. Use the Request a prayer page and tell us which prayer you are looking for. We add new prayers after checking the text for accuracy.
Can I report a mistake in a prayer?
Yes, and please do. Every prayer page has a way to report a mistake, and we correct verified errors quickly because accuracy matters to us.
Trust and privacy
How do you make sure the prayers are accurate?
Every prayer text is reviewed before it is published, and any mistake reported by users is checked and corrected. The goal is to preserve tradition, not to rewrite it.
Do I need an account to read prayers?
You can read prayers without creating an account. An account is only needed for things that are personal to you, such as family circles and your japa count.
